Photography, filming and social media

Consent

• We only photograph or film a child if their parent or carer has given consent on the registration form. Consent is per child, optional, separate from any other consent, and recorded with the date and time.
• Saying no never affects a child taking part.
• You can withdraw consent at any time by messaging us. We then stop using new images straight away, and remove existing ones from our website and social media. We can’t recall printed materials already distributed.
• We respect children’s own wishes too. If a child doesn’t want to be photographed, we won’t, even with consent.

How we take and use images

• Images show children taking part in football, appropriately dressed.
• We never publish a child’s full name, school or home area alongside their image.
• We use images on our website, social media and academy advertising, as set out on the consent form.
• Images are stored securely and kept as set out in our privacy policy.

Parents filming at sessions

• You’re welcome to photograph your own child. Please avoid capturing other children, and don’t post images of other people’s children online without their parents’ permission.

If you’re worried about how an image has been taken or used, contact info@timefootballacademy.co.uk. Inappropriate photography is treated as a safeguarding concern.
